The 7th Web Marketing Center Course, addressed to new
partners SitoVivo, has come to a close; The course lasted two days, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of november 2008
and the participants were important companies operating in the field of
the web and the ICT, interested in improving their knowledge and
experience in the web marketing one-to-one field.
The course was divided in two sessions: the first day was focused on practical exercises and functions; the second day on sale strategies, successfully case histories and discours from external speakers.
The course was an excellent support in order to understand effectively the strategic and operative marketing
(analytics, direct email and sms marketing, live customer care, real
time monitoring, click fraud detection, e-commerce tracking, search
engine optimization and search engine marketing) and offered the chance
to have an integrated and centralized software.
Many speaker talked about very interesting subjects: Giorgio Taverniti, founder of ForumGT, ConvegnoGT and Gtidea, with his experience about SEO,
talked about “New algorithm for Link Popularity”, he gave
directions and useful advices to manage efficiently this features
Nicola Briani, charter member of ComputerVarNet, discussed about Ecommerce Cart Tracking,
explained the www.Giglio.com case, very useful to understand how to
optimize on-line purchases with targeted promotional initiative, how to
reduce cart dispersion and how to count the ROI of promotional actions.
In the end, Daniele Bogiatto, talked about new chance for business in the Social Networks,
other than ebay, Facebook, that allow to manage groups and discussion,
enable to mark users in a extensively and stable way.
